Changes in the leadership at Charlton House Medical Centre
Posted on 30 Sep 2021
There have been some changes in the leadership at Charlton House Medical Centre as a result of a recent inspection carried out by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) at the practice. Following this inspection Dr Rahman’s registration was suspended for a period of six months. This means that he will not be delivering patient services for at least six months, with effect from the 28th September.
North Central London Clinical Commissioning Group (NCL CCG) has appointed Federated4Health, a group of Haringey GPs, to provide clinical and managerial leadership for the practice over the six month period, with immediate effect.
Patients at Charlton House Medical Centre will be able to continue accessing services as before. You may see a different doctor to usual, but all other services at the practice remain unchanged.
This does not affect your right to change GP practices if you wish. Further information about local practices (such as the gender of the GPs and the languages spoken) can be found by visiting the NHS Website http://www.nhs.uk/pages/home.aspx .
Please speak to practice staff if you have any questions about these changes.
